stranded [2]

on the way from Palu to Poso about one month ago, i saw a couple of women and children stranded amidst savanna, away from villages.

“We have been 36 hours on road by car from Manado heading to Poso. Our car broken down and we did not bring tools. Would you mind helping us,” they requested.

i looked at the watch on the dashboard. it was 01.15 AM and i noticed there was no car passing by for hours. we move aside and helped them to fix the car.

Pythagoras said wisely that “Friends are as companions on a journey, who ought to aid each other to persevere in the road to a happier life.”
